The Urban Worms Organics Program
Four times a year, we'll apply compost tea to your lawn, shrubs, flowerbeds and soil.
We use a 200-gallon, medium pressure, aerating horticultural sprayer.
Our compost tea, brewed from worm compost at our urban worm ranch in the Heights, contains an extraordinarily high concentration and diversity of beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes. It not only feeds your soil and plants, it protects them from disease as well.
Each seasonal spraying gives your lawn and garden enough nutrients and microorganisms for them to stay green and healthy until the next treatment. You won’t need to fertilize unless you are growing some heavy feeders such as vegetables or annual flowers. Some clients choose to add fertilizer to their lawns and perennial gardens as well. If you do fertilize, please use organic fertilizers.
Prices
Prices depend on the size of your property and the type of landscape. The
prices below are for yards that are primarily lawn. Your price will go up
to the next level if you have extensive plantings.
Sizes range from X-small to X-large. These examples will give you an idea of
which size your landscape might fit:
Where you live may also affect the final price. Ours is a very localized business
and our costs increase significantly the further we travel to a job. Therefore
there’s a surcharge for any treatments outside our immediate area.
Check your zip code below, to determine if you incur a surcharge.
